Connecting One on One

We are active members in the communities we serve, working closely with our partners – from municipal leaders to residents – to ensure our transmission system serves each community’s specific needs. Just as ITC’s transmission lines remain in the community for many years, we maintain an ongoing commitment to working with residents, businesses and local leaders and foster long-lasting, mutual partnerships.

ITC Michigan’s Role in the Community

ITC Local Government & Community Affairs Regional Manager, Cynthia Stump and ITC Senior Engineer, Gordie Halt were featured on MITechTV to provide answers to frequently asked customer service questions.

Cynthia shares how it is ITC’s responsibility to take an active role in developing long-lasting relationships and partnerships within the communities that ITC serves. Gordie discusses how ITC designs and builds the power grid to be at least as safe as the National Electric Safety Code, which is the primary standard that governs how the electric system is built.
