A Company Built on Values
Ask anyone at ITC what makes our company so special, and you’ll likely get the same answer: the people. Since 2003, we’ve built a culture that centers around our interns and employees – because when they thrive, the grid does, too.
It’s more than just friendly faces in the hallway, though. It’s a shared drive to do the right thing, work with purpose and show up each day with dedication, persistence and pride. Our people bring the power – but our values guide our path. If you relate to these values, we want to talk with you!
- Unwavering commitment to safety
- Excellence in all we do
- Integrity & responsibility
- Driving value for those we serve
- Being better together
- An enterprising approach

What Our Past Interns Say
“In 2020, I had the opportunity to intern here at ITC during the pandemic. This experience allowed me to gain a wealth of knowledge about the power industry and to develop the skills necessary to adapt to the new challenges of remote work. My time here that summer was beneficial to both my personal and professional growth, and I was thrilled to receive a full-time job offer upon my graduation!”
– Madison Ampunan, Michigan State University, Class of 2021
“My Internship at ITC allowed me to get familiar with the utility industry while working on an amazing team of individuals. When I was in school, I was not sure what field I wanted to end up in, but during my internship with ITC I saw a lot of opportunities that the company could offer. I knew it was the place for me!”
– Maddy Tata, Michigan Technological University, Class of 2022
