ITC Midwest Awards $2,500 Grant for Dyersville Hotel Feasibility Study

DYERSVILLE, Iowa (June 23, 2025) — ITC Midwest has contributed $2,500 through a Power of Connection grant to support a Hotel Feasibility Study for Dyersville. This grant will support a hotel feasibility study, which is essential for the community’s tourism and growth.

The Dyersville Economic Development Corporation (DEDC) is committed to the development and vitality of the Dyersville community. To facilitate tourism and encourage guests visiting attractions like the Field of Dreams, the National Farm Toy Museum and other amenities in Dyersville, the DEDC supports conducting a Hotel Feasibility Study. This study will bring together local organizations and community members to strategically plan projects surrounding economic development and tourism in the Dyersville area.

“This grant will help the community encourage additional commercial and tourism development in Dyersville,” said Executive Director of the Dyersville Economic Development Corporation Jacque Rahe. “Our efforts aim to ensure a vibrant community for residents, businesses and visitors alike.”

With guidance from the DEDC Board of Directors, the study will focus on market feasibility to identify factors driving demand. Each year, the DEDC adopts key community vitality projects, ensuring consistent contributions to Dyersville’s future.

“This project represents an opportunity to enhance the impact of tourism in Dyersville for the benefit of the entire community,” said ITC Midwest President Dusky Terry. “By contributing to these initial planning efforts, we’re supporting future economic development as we do throughout our service territory.”
