ITC Employees 'Remodel' Detroit

ITC takes an active role in being a good neighbor the communities we serve. Recently, our employees beautified a Detroit neighborhood in partnership with Life Remodeled.

Life Remodeled is a Detroit nonprofit organization – remodeling lives, one neighborhood at a time. The nonprofit invests approximately $5 million in cash, labor and materials into one Detroit neighborhood each year. Projects are determined by the community’s needs and vision, and Life Remodeled assists in three areas: remodeling a community asset, repairing owner-occupied homes and mobilizing 10,000 volunteers to beautify 300 city blocks in six days.

During this year’s event, 40 ITC employees joined in the effort to beautify city blocks – and were happy to be a part of it! Employees put in a full day of sweat and effort by clearing debris, trimming bushes, pulling weeds and mowing plenty of grass!
